Entirely built of red sandstone and white marble, the Amber Fort presents a excellent blending of Mughal and Hindu

You've really exhibited the outer and inner beauty of Amber Fort And Sheesh Mahal so well tat I feel like flyin' over to Rajasthan! specially I'm more keen to visit Sheesh Mahal - A Craftsmanship of Mirrors! I also wanna see the woman apartments and observe the life style of women as depicted in their apartments. I also share the curiosity of Sherry regarding women apartments in Amber Fort. What was special there ? I have heard that women in India were opressed throughout the ages, more or less same as here in Russia. Is it true? What about Rajputs ?

I've been to Amber fort once and was really impressed by the grandeur and beauty of the fort.
